Moonrock is bud rolled in oil and then in kief. Done properly it is the heaviest thing in the flower queue and it is not a beginner's smoke. Done badly it is a sticky lump of trim. The Colorado terminal grades at ingest for exactly that reason.
Open the Flower QueueThree things. The base flower has to be dense enough to carry the coating without falling apart, the oil has to be cured rather than wet, and the kief has to actually stick instead of shaking off in the bag.
A wet moonrock leaves oil on the paper and burns unevenly. A dry one sheds its kief and you have paid a premium for bare bud. The grade check at ingest is about exactly that middle state — cured oil, adhered kief, dense base.
Break it with a fingernail, not a grinder. A grinder strips the coating into the teeth and you lose the part you paid for. Break off a piece roughly a third the size of your usual bowl — it is substantially heavier than flower and it will put a casual smoker on the floor otherwise.
Burn it slow. A fast pull runs the oil before the flower catches and the hit is harsh and uneven.
Moonrock moves on the standard Colorado flower queue with everything else, graded at ingest and staged before dispatch. Weights are confirmed in-queue — gram or eighth — because the two price differently and the answer is not assumed.
